“ I legit ate 6 pounds of crawfish! It was good! Worth it! I will be returning. All you can eat seafood- my kind of place! ”
“ My absolute favorite. Missing them so much on Rock Springs right now. The customer service and the food is amazing! ”
“ Dianna was craving seafood and found this place off the strip. They offer AYCE however there is a catch you can only order certain things once or at a time. We made used and ordered everything you could order once (per person) and maxed out on those. Lol. I think it made sense to do AYCE price because if you break down everything you'll order it costs more. Everything was delicious of course just as any other seafood boil place I have gone. Service was great and friendly. Would definitely recommend. It was not busy when we went. And there was a large party celebrating while we were there but it didn't affect our experience. ”
“ UPDATE AFTER COVID: Ever since after Covid and this place offered the AYCE option, I have been addicted! The signature sauce is so good! I always ask for extra garlic. Just make sure to arrive before 7pm as they stop offering AYCE at that time. Cajun fries seasoning reminds me of wingstop fries 9/10 C'island signature sauce for seafood boil: the closest to hot n juicy flavoring that I've ever tasted! 9/10 Fried Calamari: so thick and juicy! 9/10 Fried soft shell crab: sooo juicy [must try] 10/10 Garlic popcorn cheese: 8.5/10 my friend loved it! Kinda like a fried mozzarella nugget with a hint Of garlic. The seafood bag: shrimp and crab legs are plump! Side of butter dipping sauce: 10000/10!!! It taste like the butter they use on popcorn at the theaters! Definitely must get! Also, if you can't finish, you can take your bag home for only 8$!! ”
“ Crab Island is in a beautiful large and spacious building located right by the 95 and Lake Mead. They don't have a large amount of seating or TVs but they didn't have many people inside. I placed a to go order and there was about 3 other tables occupied. I ordered a pound of snow crab, and they had my order out within 10 minutes. I chose the Cajun garlic butter sauce, but I wasn't a fan of it. There was just something about the taste I didn't like. I will try their signature sauce next time. Their sauces run on the hotter side, their medium heat was more like a hot level and was just perfect. I am curious about their hot one now. They gave me a very generous amount of snow crab, two clusters for their one pound price. I don't think they season the crab but rather just put the sauce in the bag. The restaurant was really cute with a beach theme. I will return again soon. ”
“ Usually I give this place 5 stars. There was just something's this time around that was quite different from the other times I've been there with my family. The calamari was different from the last few times we've been there. It used to be little bite sized ones filled in the basket now it's about 7 pieces about onion ring sized. We did not think it was worth $10. The last kind they had was differently worth it. The combo bag was still a great bang for your buck and the taste was still spectacular. I still recommend the house mix in mild. Other thing I wanted to also bring up is that one of the three soap dispensers had any soap in it. I had to ask my wife to grab some from the ladies room and smear it on my hands so that I can properly clean my hands. I think there should be an hourly check on the restroom like other major restaurants. Lastly, the service is always great here. Friendly staff and quick service! ”
“ My granddaughter and I were looking for a place to have lunch and I remember seeing this place. I was hesitant at first to go here but after reading the yelp reviews we decided to try it . WE LOVED IT. The food was exceptional, the service was very friendly and attentive. Considering we were there for lunch the place had a lot of people. We ordered the blue crab for two with the cajun garlic butter, extra mild and it had just enough of a kick and a wonderful taste. We also ordered some french fries and they came out hot and tasty. They even had a special on the food, buy one, get the other 1/ off. Will definitely be going back here. Just be prepared for it to be messy but we didn't care. ”
“ I haven't gone to a crab boil restaurant for quite some time. So, it was due time to satisfy our heavy cravings. Thanks to Yelp, and the fact that we happened to be in the area, we came across Crab Island. Crab Island is located on the northwest side of town on Rock Springs Dr on the northwest corner of the US95 and W. Lake Mead. It's easy to miss so make sure you keep your eyes on the lookout for it. Another thing is that parking right in the immediate parking lot located by the outdoor patio is very limited, but there's ample amount of parking on the side of the restaurant. Came in on a Saturday afternoon and I believe we came at the perfect timing because business didn't start to really really pick up until after we got seated. So, we didn't have to wait for a table to become available like other patrons had to do after us. The girl at the host/cashier desk wasn't very optimistic but she wasn't grouchy either, so I'd say that her service was a little sub-par. The restaurant appearance itself is very clean and well maintained. We happened to come at a time when Las Vegas opened at 100% and this restaurant still managed to make sure that the tables were all socially distanced. I felt pretty safe removing my mask when we got seated. The minute we got our menu we knew instantly what we wanted. They offer a great variety of items on their menu. It was very tempting to want to over-indulge and over order everything on the menu, but I know that we would not have been able to finish it all. Also, everything was decently priced for what they offer. We ordered Fried Calamari and a Combo A with side orders of White Rice. Well, the excitement of seeing the food boiling in a bag with all that yummyness just steaming waiting to get in my tummy was seriously on overdrive. I've learned my lesson before to not immediately dive in to reach for even a sausage in a steaming bag because I have definitely burned my tongue and taste buds before getting to enjoy my meal. Well, skipping to the point where we finally finished taking our last bite...the crab boil was very delicious. Side note, I wasn't a huge an of the Fried Calamari so we might try a different appetizer next time. Throughout the time while we were eating there was a man that was walking throughout the restaurant checking up on all the patrons. I assumed that he was either the manager or owner but I didn't take the time to ask because I was busy stuffing my face. The other staff also came to check up on us, as well as other patrons, quite frequently so it made me feel very valued as a patron. Yes Yes Yes...you need to check out Crab Island the next chance you get. Also, don't forget to take a picture on the throne in front of the artificial grass well behind the front counter. Here's a quick breakdown... Pros: -Lots of parking -Clean and well maintained restaurant -Seating tables are generously spaced apart -Great Price -Good customer service for the most part -Great hours of operation Cons: -not the best location ”
“ Crab Island! So this is a typical seafood by the lb place. They have a very unique sauce that I really liked though. It was totally the whole Mexican Diablo shrimp vibe. Heavy on the chili and Ali yes but not so much butter. It was so good! I've never had a sauce like it but it does remind me of Mexican shrimp. If you like hot and juicy or boiling crab, then check this place out. I'm not going to review it much because we know how these places work. You pick seafood by the lb at a spice level and flavor type. Their appetizers are really good though. Seriously check them out. Their sauces are really good. Prices are in line with other similar places. They follow reservation and Covid 19 guidelines. Temperature check and spacing and masks. ”
